Pit & Core 2/4
'Pit & Core' 2/4 is one of a very small edition collagraph print, oil based ink on heavy water colour paper. The nature of a collagraph plate means that there is some variation within the edition, so each print is unique. Here, the black has been printed in a deep black/sepia ink, and the plate is embossed in to the paper. This print is based on drawings made from a tiny bird skeleton found in local woodland. it has a delicacy of line and is reminiscent of a fossilised bird. Signed 'Pit & Core' 2/4 Diane Walkey Unmounted. Wide border. Fits a standard A4 frame. Will be sent in a tube.
